Arcane Ambition at the Edge of Arkh-Perain
The Scholarship of Nesugeia is the logical continuation of Arkh-Perain: Dust and Coin, expanding the setting beyond the Confederation and placing the spotlight on one of the powers most capable of shaping its future.
Nesugeia is a mage-ruled state built around knowledge, hierarchy, and arcane authority. The book will provide a full description of the Scholarship, its society, institutions, internal power structure, and the major characters who influence its direction.
But the focus is not only on Nesugeia itself.
The module will explore Nesugeian presence inside Arkh-Perain: its diplomats, scholars, agents, political interests, magical influence, and the individuals working to advance the Scholarship’s objectives within the Confederation. Their presence can create alliances, rivalries, opportunities, and threats without requiring the characters to ever cross the border.
For Game Masters, the goal is to make Nesugeia an active campaign force rather than a distant entry on the map. Its representatives can become patrons, adversaries, sources of knowledge, or the architects of conflicts that unfold across Nealdoril, Karth, Sarmark, and beyond.
The Scholarship of Nesugeia expands Arkh-Perain by showing what happens when a neighbouring power stops watching from afar and begins to act.
